Intentional

As I leave this year and prepare to walk into the new – I purpose to be intentional about pleasing God. Only what you do for God will last so stop trying to please and impress people.

Today, right now before the clock strikes 12:00 midnight, I commit to be intentional about focusing on the Father.

Don’t procrastinate. Don’t wait. Right now, if you want 2018 to be your winning season then God must be your one and only coach. Don’t make a play without the Father’s say so.

As you move from base to base with Jesus as your guide you can be assured a score whether from a home run or a base hit. You may have to slide sometimes to be safe but as long as you are following God’s instructions you will not be harmed.

When you turn the curve around second – you may have to pause and come back before you can make it to third. But be clear, if you are intentional about staying focused on pleasing God and not pleasing and impressing people, victory will be yours.

Make 2018 your winning season. Be intentional about staying focused on the Creator. Be intentional about living life in the shelter of the Almighty. Be intentional.
