It’s time for something new!
Yes, we are in a season of transition. It’s time for something new.
Isaiah clearly says in chapter 43 verses 18-19a:
“But forget all that, it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?”
That’s the New Living Translation…get it!
It’s time for something new…none of that old King James.
Yes, it’s time for something new.
I’m glad that I am in this season of transition. I’m glad that I’m in this place.
Even in this season of new, the Lord has given me a new This Place.
When I struggled in a season of depression, the Lord gave me Lashun Pace’s This Place.
It was so fitting as it opened with…
This place I’m in is a terrible place I feel so alone.
It looks like there is no God anywhere; no one to turn to
I did wonder, “What was the purpose of going on?”
So I asked these questions many a time…
I’m in this world, but where is my hope for tomorrow, where is my peace of mind?
I’m in this world, but where is my JOY unspeakable, where is the LOVE that conquers all?
But the Lord (through Lashun) didn’t leave me hanging.
In the midst of all my questions the voice from heaven I heard with Good News!
God said:
Yes, you’re in this world and I am your hope; I am your peace of mind
Yes, you’re in this world and I am JOY, your joy unspeakable
Yes, you’re in this world and I am here to show you LOVE…
All I want you do is TRUST me…in This Place
It may not feel good where you are but TRUST me right here in This Place
Don’t try to go nowhere else but stay right here and
Watch me move on your behalf; I know what I’m doing in your life.
I have a PERFECT PLAN for you; I have you here for a reason.
You’re going to be my witness yes you are.
I know all the ingredients that I’m putting on the inside of you.
I know what you gone be when I bring you out alright.
My ATTITUDE has changed…I said, “I trust you Lord!”
Yes, as I move – as I transition from season to season.
Yes, as I move from mountain to valley and back again
The same voice that let me know that everything is working out for my good
Has given me a new This Place as God speaks through Tamela Mann
See there is a place in God where we can all be free
A place where God can get the best out of me
There is a secret place in God where the Lord covers me
And I’m glad I’m living my life in This Place
‘Cause see I been a lot places…Europe, S. Africa, Egypt, Alaska, the islands of Hawaii.
I’ve seen a lot of things, but I never been in This Place,
Time and time again I never thought I would win, but I never been in This Place.
I’ve been a lot of places; seen a lot of people, but I never been in This Place
I am amazed that I’m in This Place!
In the arms of Jesus is a good place! To God be the glory for all he has done!
I’m so glad, my JOY is right here, my PEACE is right here!
I’m living the best of my life in This Place, I’m living a blessed life in this place…
So as we prepared for Women’s Season, we were listening to and dancing to new music
I just don’t do a lot of Kirk Franklin and I really was not getting this song It’s Time
How did it relate to being positioned for transition; how did it relate to the scripture?
But I was staying in This Place
So I kept listening to the song and I finally got it!
See! It’s time to do a new thing in This Place.
It’s time to do a new thing, but yokes don’t break on their own
So we need you Lord to do a new thing
We need the Lord so that destiny and victory can collide
God said, “It’s time!”
Every time I step out independent; yeah,
When I try to live outside of, “This Place” I fail.
But God still takes me back.
Condemnation is all gone as I fall before your throne.
I’ve been patient for so long, waiting for destiny and victory to finally collide.
There’s no sound more sweeter, than when God says, “It’s time!”
Tell all the voices, the ones in my mind…I’m doing just fine.
The “voices” in your head, just might be you being afraid. Keep the faith!
You are good…this day is the day when God says, “It is time!!!”
This day is the day that God says, “It’s time!”
Time for heartache to leave my life
For this day is the day when God says, “It’s time!”
So much sickness…defeat good-bye
Lift your voices! God says, “It time!”
Jobless, homeless…
You’re stronger, closer…you can’t give up the fight!
All the praying; don’t give up the fight!
This day is the day when God says, “It’s time!”
“All things are working together for your good” so I know it is going to be alright,
Lift your voices…God says it’s time.
It’s time for something new. It is time for transition.
Yes, all things work together for good for those who love the Lord.
That’s in the Bible…Romans 8:28
And the Word is the same yesterday, today and forever more
But at the same time the Word is the same, the Word is also brand new.
Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 and it tells you:
“Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new.”
That is the Contemporary English Version…a translation that everyone can understand.
So no matter where you are in life, if you belong to Christ you can begin again.
Yes, it’s time!
It’s time for new relationships. It’s time for new jobs, promotions and careers.
It’s time for miracles! It’s time for breakthroughs!
It’s time to step out of your comfort zone!
Get in position because something good is happening here!
Stir up your gifts and use them so destiny can collide with victory.
That’s alright with me. Yes, my spirit is open for God to do anything!
And surely it’s alright with God because the Lord says, “It’s time!”
Stay in This Place! Trust God! Something good is happening!
Wait and watch the Creator do something new in your life! It’s time!!!
