God is calling us to draw away and spend some time with our Creator.  In God we live, and move and have our very being.  We are God’s offspring.  We must make the sacrifice to separate ourselves and hear a Word from the Lord so we can better serve God’s people.

Listening to Marvin Sapp’s Thirsty CD I reflect on the lyrics of “Place of Worship” and “In the Garden”. “Go and find your place of worship.  Look into your pain and find your praise. Every low place in your life, prepares you for your high place and every tear you cry is water for your garden of victory…Go, find your place of worship.”

I have find mine so know I can say “Holy is the Lamb. Righteous, righteous, righteous, righteous…righteous is the Lamb. Our God is lovely…lovely is the Lamb.”

“I’ve come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses and the voice I hear falling on my ear, the sound of God discloses.  He speaks in the sound of his voice.  It’s so sweet that the birds they hush their singing and the melody that he sings to me within my heart is still ringing. And God walks with me, and God talks with me and He tells me that I am his own. And the joy we share as we tarry we there…none other, has ever known…”

Press your way to praise. No matter what your current situation or circumstance, God has done something for you for which you can give Him or Her thanks. And as you press your way to praise you will enter your place of worship. Remember, you never would have made it. Never could have made it without him. Stronger. Wiser. Better. Press…find your place of worship. Sacrifice, separate so you can serve him better. To God…all the glory, all the honor is due.
